Description
:
350MW combined cycle base load power generation facility

Services Provided: Complete general contracting scope of work including all civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation installations.  The civil work included all clearing, earthwork, underground utilities, concrete foundations, final grading and paving.  The structural work included assembly of pre-engineered buildings and canopies, fabrication and assembly of steel utility racks and access platforms, erection of mechanical and electrical support systems, and architectural interior finishes for plant maintenance and office spaces.  The mechanical scope included complete piping and mechanical system installation, erection of Siemens 501F duel fired turbine and generator, air-inlet filter house assembly, Nooter Eriksen heat recovery steam generator (HRSG), Siemens HP/IP/LP steam turbine and generator, 18 cell air-cooled condenser with associated steam ducting, and balance of plant equipment.  The electrical scope included complete cabling, terminations, plant lighting, heat tracing, and installation of all electrical equipment such as step-up transformers, bus ducts, switchgear, unit substations, and power control centers. FMMC managed all trades and the controlled Quality Assurance and Document Control Program, critical path scheduling, OSHA Partnership, and Contractor Health & Safety Plan.  Project Management included coordination with all utility and public agencies and plant start-up and commissioning.
