Description: A new 900,000 square foot office building.  This building is forty stories of offices, lobbies, retail space and specifically "raised floor" commodity trading areas.

Services Provided:
Complete installation of all "wet aide" heating and cooling systems along with all the redundant equipment and piping systems required to facilitate uninterruptable trading.

Heating System:
A 39,000#/hr. high pressure steam reducing station supplies steam to various heat exchangers throughout the building for conversion to hot water for perimeter fin tube radiation and variable air volume (VAV) fan powered boxes. Seven builtuUp air handlers varying from 48,000 to 80,000 cfm on the 10th floor & roof supply core heating using low pressure steam coils. A heat recovery coil system is utilized to reclaim spent heat from the exhaust ductwork.

Cooling System: Four 1100 ton electric centrifugal chillers work in unison with a four cell cooling tower on the 36th floor to provide chilled water to all air handlers and fan coil units for mechanical cooling. An economy cylce is incorporated utilizing plate & frame heat exchangers to provide "free cooling" during the swing season when conditions are right. Pump skids utilizing in-line pumps with HP ratings over 100HP are used to circulate chilled and condenser water throughout. A "Green" tank in the buildings basement reclaims all steam and chilled water condensate for re-use as makeup for the condenser water system.
