Description: Design and installation of the retractable mechanical platforms on the IRT 4/5 Downtown Local Track (Track 1).

Services Provided: Design, fabrication and installation of the new retractable mechanical platforms (a.k.a. Gap Fillers) at the 14th Street Subway Station. The mechanical platform assemblies consist of three 39 foot long, three section, tangential movable platforms which will account for variations in platform-to-subway car relationships along the curvature of each existing platform.
