Description: NAC Building Chiller / Boiler Plant Replacement – Total Renovation of Existing Chiller Plant and Installation of Two New High Pressure Steam Boilers

Services Provided: Complete Chiller Plant Demolition and Replacement along with the Demolition and Replacement of One Existing High Pressure Steam Boiler and the Installation of One New Off-Season High Pressure Steam Boiler and associated Steam PRV Station and Piping and Boiler Breeching. Furnished and Installed a new 2000 AMP Electrical Switchgear Room and Upgraded the Boiler and Chiller Plant’s Control Rooms and Automatic Control Systems including a new Boiler SCADA System.

Cooling System: Installed Three (3) 2000 Ton Steam Driven Centrifugal Chillers and One (1) 2000 Ton Dual Compressor Electric Centrifugal Chiller as well as Seven (7) 5500 GPM Condenser Water Pumps, Seven (7) 3450 GPM Primary Chilled Water Pumps and Six (6) 3450 GPM Secondary Chilled Water Pumps as well as all new piping for the entire Chiller Plant and also Replaced the Secondary Chilled Water Tertiary Pumps located in the Campus Satellite Buildings.

Boiler Plant: Installed One New 50,000 # / hr and One New 20,000 # / hr Dual Fired High Pressure Steam Boilers with an operating pressure of 230psi for both. Installed a new Chemical Treatment System, Boiler Room Heating & Ventilation System and refurbished the Steam Pressure Reducing Station.
