Description:

Natural gas fired 80 Megawatt combined cycle electric generating facility located in Bethpage, NY. Comprised of one (1) General Electric LM6000 SPRint combustion turbine generator coupled to an Innovative Steam Technologies "OTSG" - once through steam generator with supplemental duct firiing. The high pressure steam feeds a Siemens Industrial steam turbine connected to a second generator. Other equipment onsite is: a five cell Marley cooling tower, a Turbine Air Systems chiller package and gas compressor.

As F&S Power, FMMC and Peter Scalamandre & Sons provided the underground piping systems and foundation work. FMMC provided the mechanical and steel erection, OTSG installation, heavy lifts, equipment setting and alignment, and 20,000 lf of pipe installation
