Existing 48 Story Office Building

Services provided: Complete installation of Value Engineered New 7,300 ton Chiller Plant and modernization of Existing 2,600 ton Refrigeration Plant.
Cooling system: New Hybrid Central Chiller Plant located in the basement. Includes (2) 1,850 ton gas engine driven centrifugal chillers with parallel electrical drives, (1) 2,100 ton electrical centrifugal chiller and (1) 1,500 ton steam driven centrifugal chiller. Chilled water is distributed to existing central air handling units by primary-secondary pumping system. Water side economizer is utilized for "free" cooling.

The implemented Value Engineering reduced the cost and duration time of construction.
